HSE POLICY

We believe that Environmental Protection Standards (EPS) is an integral part of efficient and profitable business management.It is therefore our plan to improve our EPS performance and strive to be an industrial leader in the Health, Safety and Environment practices by:

1. Creating a conducive working environment where accident will be reduced to the barest minimum and in which employees and the policies will not be exposed to hazard.
2. Improve the environment performance of our facilities by reducing toxic and harmful emission. New facilities and plants used will incorporate the most efficient pollution control techniques.
3. Communication openly with those who live within the vicinity of our facilities to ensure their understanding of our operations and our understanding of their concern.
4. Meet or exceed all regulatory and client standards for health, safety and the environment.

QUALITY CONTROL & ASSURANCE POLICY STATEMENT

1. Ensure that all clients’ obligation/standard are met and maintained.
2. Ensure that all employees shall exercise all necessary skills and diligence in respect of all materials, equipment and personnel assigned for works so as to prevent loss for civil common within the area of the company.
3. Ensure the safety of employees and members of the public (communities) that may be involved in its operations.
4. We are committed to synthesize aesthetics with functionality, without necessarily comprising with the environmental requirements.
5. DammyLand Dredging & Construction Ltd is committed to protecting the environment and assuring a safe and health working environment for employees in its office and work sites and will endeavour to prevent personal injury, property damage or damage to the environment in the execution contracts.

PROJECT POLICY STATEMENT

DammyLand Dredging & Construction Ltd believes that safety is an integral part of its production activity. On the basis of this principle and within the limits of its functions and duties, DammyLand Dredging & Construction Ltd is determined to innovate and particularly update the preventive actions relevant to the health and safety in the work sites.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

1. The prevention of accident and any property damage.
2. The promotion of Occupational Health and Hygiene.
3. Environmental health safety.

The management will be incumbent upon all employee of the company, to take care for their own safety and others who may be affected by their emissions and also to cooperate with the company in its safety arrangements. It is also the duty of staff to perform or comply with statutory safety legislation and accepted codes of practice as contained in the client safety policy.

The policy document and provision contained herein will be brought to the attention of all employees.

It will be the responsibility of the Safety Officer to review this policy on regular basis and to make recommendations to the Project manager for upgrading and modifications as necessary.

The prime responsibility for safety operations and a safe place of work rests on all sections of management and DammLand Dredging & Construction Ltd will ensure this policy is pursued with diligence.
